Send a letter stating your conditions for payement and that if no money is recieved by x date you will be taking it to the small claims court.

Go to the court and ask for a leaflet on the process so you are clear in your mind before sending letter.
There are legal guidelines to follow.

If you dont follow these guideliness the builder may play on this so waisting time and you may have it thrown out causing you more expence.

Good luck

i think i would rather let it go will never work for them again.
the house i cleaned was big . but its not the owners fault they did not call me its the builder i think builders are finding things hard at moment so just be careful when asked to do new build jobs .

Dec 08 isnt that long ago, many organisations take 90 days to pay.
Worry about it when the debt is six months.

Six months? I don't think so....

Right if you want to get your money tell us:-

1. How the deal was set up originally. What did the guy say to you?

2. Any paperwork or order number given?

3. Do you have the name and address of the builder?

4. What does his answerphone message say?

It's a game of three halves!

You could try these debt collection solicitors, I've used them before they will send the debtor a couple of warning letters, if this doesn't prompt your payment then they file a CCJ.
