Water in transit...Signs
« on: February 11, 2009, 06:14:42 pm »
Does anyone have signs on the back of van saying " water in transit".... or similar.... i hold people up on bends and roundabouts, .....because i dont want the strain of the pull,  on the van....., but i sometimes see the frustration on the face of drivers behind me....

or am i asking for trouble... like being pulled by our friendly bobbies...ol.?

yes but as long as the weight limit you have on the back of the van is within its limits you should be ok

I notice 1 hell of a difference with my 500 litre when it is full from when i had a 250 tank in the back

just take it easy and pretend you have a caravan on the back of you..........

i can hear Jeremy Clarkson now....... Pure water window cleaners are worse than caravaners lol

I'd say a water in transit sticker = please pull me up and take me to a weigh bridge.

I would not put a sticker on at all, but I have a big logo they can see forwarding them to my website, nothing wrong with being careful when you drive, if people dont like it tuff, they would soon moan if you drove like a nut and crashed and held them up for hours.

So sticker no, website yes  ;)

p.s it was not a stupid question at all, it shows you are thoughtful

Thoughtful would be getting out of the way when im stuck behind you on them roundabouts...

Only messing....anyway wouldnt it only be a problem getting weighed if you were over your payload, if not no worry :)
