We've worked one-and-a-half days this week; made very little money...etc
Same as me.

I've been texting Gilesy and he reckoned it was perfectly workable all morning!
I'm due in St.Arvans, and we went up to have a look...it's 2-3 inches deep and blowing a sideways blizzard!
It's nothing like we've got near town.

He seems to think customers will be fine, and it's normal! :o

He's either full of it, or on the wind-up. ::)

I think Ian_Giles is just more determined to get work done and money made than the rest of us 'sad-sacks' who take a day off when there's a 'cloud in the sky'!

Of course Wor lass and I could've worked today; we just had a good excuse not too; and I bet you were the same.

Not at all. I really needed the money.
Did you go to St.Arvans today?

No-one would have worked there.
It was like Siberia!
You upset any customer in that.

3 inches deep and sideways blizzard, like I said.
Like this...but in St.Arvans... don't tell me this is fine for work! ::)

Managed two half days this week. Snow now all gone overnight [not a sign of it} but guess what its now raining, and forecast is a mix of rain, snow and sleet.
Gonna give it a miss apart from a couple of chippies and have a go tomorrow, which is supposed to be ok.
Absolute boredom has set in and ive not enjoyed any of this time off, gettin right under my missus feet.
wish it would rain here, worked today but had to be careful with the ladder on the packed ice
;D Good effort!

Snowing here today, didn't start coming down heavy till around 9.30 and was already out. Only got turned away by 2 customers. They all know i work in the rain, so imo its no different. In fact i would rather work in the snow than the rain. The roads were fine, just drives and gardens covered in snow.
