Actually this is what Ive done.
I bought 50 metres of tricoflex and measured off 40 metres; which is enough to reach round from the rear of my property to the front where my van is parked.
I cut the 40 metres of hose into 4 lengths of 10 metres each and insert into each end these joiners, theyre called Geko fittings and are very quick and easy to snap and twist together

So because Ive adopted this arrangement I dont have to shift 40 metres around in one go getting all knotted and twisted on whatevers lying in the way.
Then when Im done filling the van each 10 metre length is disconnected from its neighbour and is hung up on these 2 hooks on the shed wall, as theyre in those short lengths theyre manageable when hanging up as well. Each 10 metre length of hose is looped over the hooks twice.
