All 10 inch filters are standard size so it should fit OK.

Have you tried taking the housing off completely and screwing it back into place?

There will be 1 or maybe 2 black O rings which make the watertight seal. Check that they are there and if they are that they are not kinked and are seated properly.

You should be able to make a watertight seal using hand pressure only. Don't tighten it up with the housing spanner that should be there.

If all that fails and the unit is in guarantee get back to PF.

Adding another one would make it worse.

It shouldn't leak. Like I said if it is still in guarantee get back to PF and ask them to help.

There are a lot of different 10inch filter housings. I don't think the PF use these ones.

Will do, I wonder if its a bit of mineral deposit built up on the thread/housing, in which case a soak in vinegar should sort it.

Does it leak without the filter? Could be the filter isn't seated properly and is pressing
against the lid.

try ptfe tape, there could be a bit of dirt a shard of plastic stopping it seal correctly and see if it still happens if it does, I am sure they will change it for you, they have always been good to me in the past.
