CONSERVATORY ROOFS

HI FOLKS BEEN ASKED TO QUOTE FOR A CONSERVATORY ROOF,WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR THESE AND DO YOU JUST USE YOUR NORMAL POLE AND RINSE AS YOU WOULD CLEANING A WINDOW?

Is it glass??  or plastic? how dirty??

easy enough to pole it but you can also spray some traffic film remover on it to shift stubborn dirt...

price on how long you think it will take...£30 minimum probably...where are you based?

BASED IN THE WEST MIDS,ITS A GLASS ROOF IF I USE TRAFFIC FILM REMOVER,WILL IT STILL BE OKAY TO USE THE SAME BRUSH AS I USE TO CLEAN THE WINDOWS?

You should be fine using your standard wfp brush that's what i use at the moment and seem to be cleaning them ok, Well at least i hope i am ;)

hi there yes i am out cleaning but only been at it for a few weeks and trying to build up a round,thats why all the questions.i,d like to say this forum as really helped me out and thanks alot to you guys for all the help.

Hi,

Spray it with tfr.... clean the rest of the windows whilst the tfr is working...

connect your pole to the customers outside tap (if poss)

give it a good scrub using ordinary tap water...

Then rinse off with pure water.

perfect.  ;)

If you go in at about £5.00 a roof panel, you will not be far off. If really dirty add some extra. If you don't already do the windows on the conseravtory then add extra for those as well.

I would say that was close on price if not including finnials(spelling)crests etc,without those bits of the roof they can be done in next to no time.
