Conservatories I add more.

Your price looks a little cheep.

Its what you are happy with in the end.

I had a thread up not so long ago.

A good reply was look at what the charge would be less tax, setting up on the job, fuel etc.

My prices did not look so good after that.

I am now looking at the profit I need to make and then adding costs on top.

Where you may charge £15 it would go up to £20

If you did it the other way around you may just clear £10. On a 4 bed and that to me is not good going.

i'd guess 4 bed  £25-30 and 3 bed £20-£25.

it's hard to say though a  houses and conservatories differ so much

This might sound silly but it depends on how many windows there are in the 4 bed to start with then there 's the conservatory. some 4 beds i do have 4 windows on the two front beds some only have 2 etc.
You can price it per window average £1.00up ,50pdown, £1.50/£2.00bays.. Conservatory depends on size. Or work out time takern and how much you put down as an hourly rate.

It also depends where it is- If it's one of many on a "barrat" style estate you're never going to achieve 25 quid & your current quote sounds more realistic. If it's in the sticks or even a bit out the way then you would want the 25 quid.

How long does each one take to clean? from pull up to drive off.

I am in Birmingham and I charge a lot more than that, so I think you are too cheap.

The best way to find the right acceptable price to quote at is by trial and error when you first start out.

What you need to do is start at a high figure, then work you way down slowly.

So for the next 10 enquiries you get, quote high and watch their reactions, if they look shocked or refuse your price. then drop your price on the next one who enquires, you kept on doing this, until they go ok when can you clean them., you have now reach the acceptable level that area is willing to pay.

Also point out that the 1st clean, is always double the price, and any clean over 3 months is classed as a 1st clean.

If they question you on this, explain that you do a complete clean, and this takes longer on 1st cleans or propertys that have not been cleaned for sometime, the customers understand this and I never get objections to my prices.

Also never be afraid to quote high, sell yourself and your service and what you are going to do for them, treat them special, it does work, also if you are confident that you are offering a service that is value for money then they will be convinced as well, if you are not convinced, then they will pick up on this and they won't be as well.
