standard or full comp liability?
« on: January 09, 2009, 05:10:07 pm »
just looking at a recent thread, and it made me wonder how many guys have standard liability as compared to fully comp liability,as like it says on the thread the only real differance is the glass being worked on ?

I have full.

I think the basic was about £110.00 and to include flat roofs and the glass Im working on was about £250.00 with a £250.00 excess.

i currently have part too for £80,was thinking of upgrading to full for another 150,but with a 300 excess would it be worth it with the only major difference being glass worked on,if the actual glass did get damaged sureley it could be replaced with what you would payexcess, what do you guys say?

I have the fully comp 300 odd quid, had it for 6 months and wish to upgrade to employers liability. reply was you cannot on this product you will have to cancel at a cost to myself and reinsure.
So, be careful if you intend to expand your biz as it may cost you.
