i was telling some on  to do this the other day but to cut a hole in the bulkhead run hose like yours from the lower feet heater bit ..under the seats so they drive with it..

the heat in the back was lovely

no hairdryer for me/or over night heater/or parafin/no £

i have no bulkhead ..i had my first freeze up the other day....
i drove up a section of the motorway and back down with heat blasting...sorted
