Manchester & Warrington WFP work offered
« on: November 25, 2008, 10:02:03 pm »

Hi,

i am wondering how much any of you charge, on a daily basis to operate your waterfed pole systems.

I have a building to clean, and wondered how much you charge on a daily basis to work alongside me to clean the job.

Only takes 1 day, but i have alot of work coming up & need to be able to call on people for the odd days work.

This building will require good experienced pole users, as the highest windows need 60ft pole.

Obviously you need your own equipment, van, system & 60ft pole.

thanks,

Chris.

Iain,

the work will be cleaned on a saturday for 1 day, starting at 7 oclock - 3 oclock.....

I clean this building 4 times per year, but have a big contract coming up and that is a good few days every 3 months, working through the night if interested 10-6 in the morning.

This is why i need a day price for the saturday building which is in warrington.

Hopefully you get better response than me from previous member who wanted £300 for half a day.

This job was only worth £300, ok it was sunday morning, but, £300 is ridiculous. I was prepared to share but not pay more. I will work 7 days a week because of restricted access to buildings, but, i think the client would of laughed me out the door, especially with the current climate.

i cant do it for you as i am up here in glasgow, but i did a days work with a guy who was in a pickle, the work was 70ft and his pole burst, so as i have a 85ft he asked me to do it with him, me doing the high stuff and he did the lower stuff with his 40ft, anyways to cut a really long story short ( you still awake?) he offered me 300 quid for the day........i declined the payment (he was in a pickle, i aint going to capitalise on his misery) so i took 50 quid and a promise of a day to help me at the same rate, which he did. ;D..smiles all round.....he put the extra 250 quid he would have paid me towards a new 70ft pole 8)

Wow that was good of yuo scrimman, not very often people prepared to help each other.

The we had was easy about 30 4ft sq windows & an entrance wall of glass approx 10 ft wide by 60 ft high, but it was initial clean + sunday. So warranted a decent ammount, more than double what i would charge during week.
