Benny

I live in the cheshire area and our local distribution center is about half hour away from me so i guess yours will be in the close proximity to you.

Think if you type in royal mail and it should direct you from there :)

I do know that you will have to take your leaflets to your local distribution center when you book your drop :)

Hi

Try searching for "Door to Door" which is what they call it.

When i have used them i have to drop them in Warrington which is about 25 miles away.

Before you gp Royal Mail ask your own postie how many actually get delivered.  Most are returned as the posties just leave them  :o

The dtd stop soon  for xmas (or usually do)

Just ask the postie to deliver them for cash ;D ;D ;D (not in work time of course) ;)

I've 'heard' that in 'some' delivery offices dtd's only get taken out to houses with mail, otherwise a postie won't bother going to the hassle of delivering what is commonly refered to as 'Junk'

I've also heard rumours that come friday and it's been a busy week a big pile (and I mean BIG) of the door to doors get taken away discreetly ;)

ANOTHER 'rumour' I've heard of is that your leaflet will be placed inside something bigger, ie a Pizza menu. Every postie has 3 seperate items of dtd to deliver and they all get folded together.

Obviously just rumours I have heard ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks all for the replies.

Im sure bulk leafleting is the way to go, it's just finding out a honest "company" to do it!

Do any of you use a leaflet delivery company? I have had one at http://www.leafletmaster.co.uk  trying to get me to have them deliver the leaflets, but as usual I wasnt sure  ???

Has anyone heard either good or bad stories about them?Or is there a good delivery company that can be recommended?
Thanks

your better off getting a local company to deliver them solus, might cost more, but you WILL get a better return, wouldnt bother with the post office, or newspapers as the all get shoved inside something else (i once had mine put inside a co-op panthlet, trouble was, there wasnt a co-op in my town, so complete waste of money, if people dont use co-op, they dont see my flyer) i had 50,000 go that route, got 6 calls!!!
i try to deliver them myself now, hour each day, or get people i know to help, can never really trust anyone else 100%!!

It's Royal Mail Door to Door Service. www.royalmail.com/doortodoor

Just a work of warning I don't feel that they do a good job, I had them delivery 20000 flyers cost me over £600 (£36 @ 1000) to cover Birmingham City Centre and I haven't had one response from the campaign.  That was just over two weeks ago.

I would have been better off using another a set of guys that were recommended to me by another carpet cleaner who had used them before. The were charging £20.00 per 1000.

Like most of these services there are no guarantee or official checking, I am getting better results from the leaflets I deliver myself.

Ive done the door to door with the royal mail over the last four years , you have to sign a contract with them, its a minimum of £500.00 order and it takes eight weeks to set up and they don't deliver the three/four weeks up to christmas.

Think its like most things you will get some that do the job and some that dont.

I did drop some leaflets a few weeks ago and that was just the next few houses were i was working and its not a pleasant job mate.

Maybe someone you know or a retired person that you know to earn a few extra quid ???
