Balcony Glass...
« on: November 08, 2008, 07:41:27 am »
I've been doing a job on a two weekly basis, and charging £9 per clean for the building.  But they are just about to complete a huge raised decked area which is having 32 separate pains of balcony glass ( approx 3' x 4'), and easy access to all, and both sides to cleaned .

Taking into account its on a two weekly basis, what would think would be a fair charge?

I have worked out what I think it should be, but it feels a bit on the high side, I'm considering lowering my price per pain as there's so many.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks :)

this type of glazing does not need to be totally drip, or spot free especially since it outside im assuming! Its not like its the kitchen window..

therefore you can just brush over it with a quick rinse if wfp.

Don't drop your standards, do it right. Do you have to use a ladder to access the balcony?
I should think it has to be worth another £30. Inside and out is 64  panes, if I was doing a house I would charge £1 for a window that size.
