For all the guys who still use the traditional method, what do you do when you get up in the morning and the ground is lightly frosty

spikes fitted onto the bottom of your ladders that embed themselves into the ground,also rubber mitts on the top of yr ladders ...fit both of these as standard you,ll be safe.

not on block paving/ pattern imprinted concrete you wont.

I use to use stabilad stabilisers fitted onto my ladders along with those small rubber mats.

laddermats are fine for that. I have used them on internal tiled floors as well and stay perfectly firm.
