Someone help (facelift problem)
« on: November 04, 2008, 07:29:12 pm »
Ive had me facelift for ages now. Problem is ive been using vikan brushes so i had to buy a adapter for the black plastic gooseneck for the vikan to fit the facelift. Now the problem i have is im going through the goosenecks at a silly rate as the thread keeps going on the part that screws onto the adapter. Anyone got a solution? a longer adapter would prob be the answer but cant find one.

Hope you understand that ;D just wondered if others have had these problems.??

I have a thread glued straight in the end on mine it`s much better,i don`t like the collars they come with.

Just wrap several turns of PTFE tape around before fitting the plastic gooseneck so the metal connection doesn't cut into the threads as bad.
