Often pick up conservatory roof cleans due to my sign written van. I get greeted with " i don't want my windows done because i already have a cleaner". Fair enough, but the standard of their cleaner is dreadful do you get this too? I do the best job i can and still get moaned at, the standard in my area is terrible but the custies don't see it.

There's a few of those "Porthole Cleaners" around here, too.

Most travel from Stoke-on-Trent, and come into the Stone and Stafford area's "Teamhanded".

What bothers me though, is that when customers are not at home, they send 10 year old kids round on Friday evening, for the money.

One of my customers tells me that these children are totally unsupervised, then having collected, wait on street corners, waiting to be picked up!

Unfortunately, due to advances in central heating, there aren't so many chimneys around these days for the children to climb up.  At least collecting keeps them out of mischief.

I have seen the same with poor w/c and that was with wfp and trad.

People rushing around with wfp thinking they have done a good job but not rinsing properly. Not getting into the corners etc.

Trad who leave smears or cant be bothered to detail. Using Dirty gear, dirty water etc.

However I must say most w/c are good around our area.

I have been on to an estate agent for the last two years but they wont budge. they say that the bloke has done them every week for years. this summer I pointed out an arse print in the middle of the window for three weeks in a row. guess what they still did not budge. some people are just plain dumb.
if it is dirty it is fair game
