« on: October 28, 2008, 10:45:18 pm »
Just had a panick, just got the heaters out for the van in a mas panick. Loads of snow is falling in the Tropical south east here in Surrey.

Whats going on, we never get snow.

Strange, strange indeed Neil. Here in the far North West it is showery at the moment but no sign of snow. One would think it should be the opposite but weather patterns are changing it would seem.

There's been a lot more snow South of Hadrian's Wall than in the North in the past 10 years.

Forecast has just been on, showing a fair bit of snow down South. Certainly a bit cool up here !Had heater in my van last night .............fortunately.

the jet and gulf stream are slowly moving south, this happens every ten or so thousand years, tends to be the start of an ice age, the ice caps are melting, making the nearby water cooler, and also the fresh water from the ice disrupts the salt water of the sea, some people would have you believe its too many cars on the roasd causing it, who knows ;)
