Lagging all external pipework on the van.
Storing what i can in the house ie brushes , hoses , etc
Starting and running van with heater on for [ not sure suggestions please ] mins
getting all winter gear out of storage ie thermals , hats , etc
Hot flask with coffee
Rock salt
What else ? i know heaters are going to come up but anything else ?

Wet proofs and spare uniform complete, couple of good books, good quality hand cream and some decent music for when I'm stuck in the van waiting for the weather to clear.

But as I have just got a new house with a massive garage, the timer will come on about 04:30 and by the time I have had my 2nd coffee the van will be toasty warm ...no lugging everything out of the van each night to prevent freezing and getting caught out the 1 night I dont!!!

yeah it is my fave time too, once you warm up in work you dont feel the cold, but you dont overheat like in summer, and its easiest time to clean glass!
