Maybe, just maybe the reason the C/D guy has been around for years, is his ability to price work, to win it !

Anyway, £195 for two hours work sounds fine to me, or three hours, for that matter.  Everyone has a different way of working and some can get through work much more quickly than others but still achieve as high, or possibly higher standard than others.

I can concur with Andy . i was seriously shocked at Chem dry price  even when I had done what I thought was a Competitive qoute.

problem is there is a Price War  and an everything you say I will trump culture so it makes it hard for customer to decide

Tell me about it.
Did a large bedroom, en suite, hallway and other spot treatment in a property that musy be £750,000.
Husband has own wine importing business in London.
She is on the books and got paid £375 for 1 hours work (saw the payslip!)

Gave me a bit of a lecture at the end about the £70 bill for 90 minutes work :o Look on her face when I said she got that cheaper than my normal rate ;D

and in contrast to that, did an old mans house today. not very well off, retired and on pension, living room dining room, full of furniture, hall stairs (stenna stairlift running up it) landing and a bedroom but no furniture moved, charged £110, did it in 70 minutes with my mate helping, and the guy gave us a ten pound tip, you'd think it would of been the other way round with neils job,
newt queer as folk.
