Gary I was plagued by that song at school!!!!!

I know, it was 1979 and your pupils used to sing it to you while you were trying to teach the Geography class. No wonder you left and started carpet cleaning  :)

The main thing is that my outgoings are very cheap for my business perhaps bourne from when I first started out with no money and the fact that I'm going to get a big tax bill so I might aswell offset something into the business perhaps a decent ad here and there wouldn't hurt.

A lesson to be learnt here.

You allways see Heinz baked beans advertised don't you. Well about 20 years ago they cut back  through revenue restrictions etc,  they thought they were OK because everyone bought Heinz beans, right? Wrong!

Their revenue went down through the floor. So they had to get back into regular advertising, they realised  they maintain their market leadership through consistent advertising (and good beans). Guinness and Coke are also good examples they are market leaders, they can afford to not advertise but they keep doing it.

If you dont advertise or recall customers, they will go somewhere else, Cross and Blackwell beans and Pepsi come to mind.

Happy Sunday everyone, and well done Hammilton cant wait for Brazil.
