i know there has been loads of topics on employing recently but i wondered what you reckon the best way to go is, is it best too take someone with you and try do 75% more in a day with someone, or send them out on there own, but then you have van to pay, extra fuel, you dont know what they are doing etc....
thoughts??

work them with you first work closely with them teach them how you want to it done and make sure there competant and then if things are still going well then try them on there own.......it is not easy and you may go through a few employees so dont just go straight in with a new van it may not work out!

i find that with someone else you hardly ever get twice as much done.
if theyre new sometimes i have found the ones that come with you you do that little bit extra but just to cover their wages really
i just find you always get a good amount with someone else with you and it kind of motivates you but you dont really earn anymore (im not saying you dont, i have earned some good money with having people with me)
i have yet to send someone out in my other van and i dont know if im gonna go that way, ive got really stuck in just lately, window cleaner pro has been a great thing for getting me motivated
my advice, get a lad with you £50 odd a day, work hard have a easy life

Ive just taking lad on hes on second week looks promising still slow but when he leaves the window and moves onto the next there fine 9 times out of 10.
as LWC says im not making anymore money yet i eatimate around when hes faster after his wages tax etc i may clear an extra £30 £40 a day from him hopefully personaly i think it would be most p[rofitable for 2 men in a van - wages you may make about 70 80 ish a day.

another bit of advice, something ive done a few times, work hard on your own, and have a expericened cleaner on hand if you know one,if you need a hand, pay them well, you will earn alot that way
i have earned some mega money with another window cleaner, i stil paid them well but i made some serious money
