Cleaning with my Superlight at forty five feet today when a man walks past with his kids - "god look at that, health and bloody safety if that's not dangerous then i don't know what is! I suppose you go fishing with that too?"What a numpty.
Have you had any wind up merchants?

I was doing a customers windows and she just had one that was out of reach, so I used an extention pole rather than take of the ladders, and a guy walked past and said thats the lazy what to do it why dont you get your ladders out. However I got the chance to say, "you would have to be DAFT to choose a harder and slower method mate", and he walked on in silence.  ;D

Make sure you get in the corners. >:(

i always used to reply to that one by saying , ''i charge extra for corners,'' whilst grinning at the same time  ;D.
and when people say ''you've missed a bit ' 'used to say ''i know , but dont tell everyone , they will all want a bit''  ;D, since going water fed pole i dont get those ones, only to be replaced with even more annoying comments.

What a weird day, he wasted 45 mins of my time, i was just trying to get ladders on roof and get home!

Jesus, there is no way I would let him waste my time like that, you should have just used some polite escuse, like "Iam sorry mate but I have to get these done or I wont get round everyone I have booked in today, I dont mean to be rude, all the best to you mate". and walk on. Ok not really an escuse prob the truth but better than wasting 3 1/4 of a hour with him.

Hope he is not there next month seandyer2003.

your getting my wall wet, your getting my grass wet, and the worse one you are getting my mud wet.

I was stuned when these were said to me and they are no longer a customer some are just against change I think fullstop, I did have to add, you are going to need a very large tent to this lady she asked why and I replied it is going to rain later and you wouldnt want your walls, grass and mud getting wet  ::). I then walked off, that was the second and last time I took them back on as a customer. I know it was unprofessional to say the last bit but hell it felt good at the time.

"Simon can you not come when it's going to rain." This was 2 years ago and I've not been back since...well I'm only doing what the customer instructed ::)
