Take out the ply,it takes minutes and you`ll have piece of mind it`s done properly.It will also save you having to seal it first,you can`t see if it`s damp under the ply but if it is all you will be doing is sealing in the water and it will rot the floor protecta coated or not.

it has never had water in it as its a new van i just wanted to know if you have to seal it first as someone has suggested pva adhesive, but it says nothing on the tin and i want to coat it tomorrow, have tried the company but they've gone 'ome.i will try them again tomorrow unless anyone can shed lightthanks againbill
Use boat vanish instead! Cheaper as well!
