« on: September 05, 2008, 08:03:33 pm »
anyone give me a better place to find a cage for a 650 ltr tank flat, they seem to cost a fortune. Or are there any alternatives to a cage that you know of. cheers.

straps will not hold a 650ltr tank in a crash the tank will go through me,through the wall i hit and into the next field, i wont live i have straps holding down my 400ltr tank and have risked enough, i think the local welder is my best bet anyone know of pics anywhere i can get to explain to them.

Here is a pic of the template neil williams put on here for a 400 litre tank.

I don't have a frame. I use straps and bars drilled through the chassis.
Got the fixing kit from cleantech.

Funny, they will hold a large four wheel drive on a transporter, maybe the AA use them too, when they pick up your broken down van and stick you in the crew cab?
