All,

I have decided to release a separate utility that will do the import from George rather than having to send me the files.

To do this I need create a user interface and that will take a little time. I will try and get the download ready for tomorrow.

This way you can do the import yourselves, rather than having to send me your data.

I hope this is ok

Ian

Can we asume youre unindated with requests to convert data then?

Yes, but it also means that you wont have to send me the data.

Why can't you and paul work together to get a really great programme?

I only use George, but with a few tweaks from a non programmer like myself it could be all encompassing. For example the expenses already exists, but the headings should already be in there, then it can be used as an account package to prepare a profit and  loss statement.

For me to forsake george the pro would have to be very good, and it's a lot of bother transfering the data. So what would be the clear benefits?

Dave,

Yes I would hold fire for a moment as the utility will do most of the transformations for you :-)
