My totally honest  opinion:

I had a free webiste name the lot years ago, in the end it cost me £300+ to get just the name back, every tom dick harry jumps on this band waggon, this is reason I stopped it 10 years ago.

Again I see the same thing happening again do cheap non workable sites and they will make money from you for no benifit to you.

I personally am not trying to sell my website design to cheap to get you on it, you either use me or anyother I am not going to try and sell you my service, but i do offer experience in window cleaning and can also design a site that will help you, and it is in my interst to help you, as I do not class my fellow window cleaners as a number on the accountants figure sheets like most


my hosting is a little more than they charge but you also get a page on my site if available plus domain and marketing.

I have to agree with windowwashers, be weary of services that are free/cheap. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and most of the companies that offer these services also have other services that they will try to sell you.

Its naff and NOT free..... You have it free for 1st month then its £2.99, £5.98 or £8.97 per month. They are all templates and your web address is "www.yourcompany.vpweb.com" ?If you already have a domain name then if you pay for the top package it can be pointed to your Vista website.
Its good in so much as it can match your stationery but IMOP its to limited and not up to a properly designed website.

had it 2 years, aint paid a penny, and even if i do have to at some point in the future 2 years free website, i really wont mind that much

i get a lot of traffic every month and not from searchs just as "ladderless window cleaner" although i am 4th with this search

"window cleaner oswestry" is top, and thats all that matters, and i didnt do anything to get this!

ok free isnt always free, but so far mine has and mine has brought me work in. and im really happy with how it looks too!

very good post, and just goes to show you can do a web site cheaper

only thing i would say, when you open it up the page title is " home " ( this was just as i opened it up, im not being critical, just offering some advice )

on your first page change it to <title>Home</title> change home to "  window cleaner " then people will bookmark it as that

did mine with freewebs cost me£10 for domain name thats all. top of
list for local area on google and yahoo and on 1st page in the birmingham
area i listed my site on every free directory going. freeindex is a good one
exchange links with them and you can put your website on their site
get 3-4 jobs everymonth from mine was certainly worth a tenner
