referbished toilets
« on: February 23, 2005, 08:55:00 am »
good morning, have just been asked to undertake a builders clean for 6 reburished toilets. There will be one set to clean every fortnight. Any advice welcome on how to set price structure IE: price per toilet and what basic cleaning tools and chemicals i may need to undertake the job as i havent done any builders cleans before and want to do a great job.
regards
reece

so are you doing the buld clean on the toilets or are you do a regular clean on the toilets, if it is a regular clean, are you cleaning the site toilets, ie the welfare fracilties.

once a fortnight- better to be once aweek, especially in this weather

good morning martin, i believe that the job is a builders clean. The client has just had a large block of toliets refurbished. Once i have seen the site or received a more specific list of the requirements is could you give me an idea of what i should be rouhly charging and what the best process would be to undertake the job.

Hi Reece
I take it that you have not done this sort of cleaning before?!
When you have seen the toilet block, you will have to let us know the condition of the toilet block, and let us know how many toilets, sinks, urinals etc there are and also are they 6 toilets in one block, or 6 blocks of toilets.
If you are being asked to clean the toilets on a regular basis as mentioned on your first posting, there may be an opportunity to supply the clint with thetoilet rolls, hand soap etc

We have just priced up cleaning the toilet block, site office and 2 canteen areas for a building site, and they would like it cleaned twice a week....

Look forward to hearing from you when you have more info.

Regards

afternoon tim, just been and had a look at the refurbished toilets. there are 5 toilets roughgly 3m x 5m and there are x2 shower rooms 8m x 3m. Both areas are tiled on the walls and have a vinal flooring. Both areas need a builders clean and a sparkel finish as the client is looking to use the facilities. what materials and chemicals do i need, how long roughly do you think it will take and how much should i charge.
