I am getting too old to be around people who  don't understand the concept of  loyalty and honesty.

The hotter the weather the harder the rubber you`ll get away with, most people use harder rubbers on large shop windows,i find that`s the only time there any good.

I find on hot days that soft tend to stick and bounce on the glass, so in the summer soft/ winter hard.AS for using hard i have had no trouble at all. I use unger 51 if that helps i don't know.

strange one, normally we use unger soft - sometimes unger 3*, both seem fine until I get the sorbo out then I realise once again just how rubbish all other rubbers (and squeegee's) are compared to sorbo.

sorbo handles, channels and rubbers all the way from now on.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

Funny, because I've always preferred Pulex Hard.

I found the soft left more marks, and didn't last as long.

Soft rubbers are for more uneven glass hard rubbers are for newer glass with no imperfections. Depends on what type of work you do. We do lots of hotels where the glass is quite new or just in good nick so hard rubbers are more suitable.

A local supplier I've used for years just sells their rubbers by brand, not whether they're hard or soft. I've used Pulex for years with no problems but suspect that they were 'hard' though, as I've just bought some Pulex 'soft' from Soap National and they are quite different to use. They feel softer and are much better to use for my work which is generally modern double glazing.
