Does anyone here send rugs up to Franklins in Yorkshire to clean.

We have been asked to clean 2 persian rugs 12f * 10f that the customers does not want cleaning in her home as she is having wood floors fitted.

We have not the room to clean rugs of that size at home.

Does anyone use Franklins in this situation if so how do you get the rugs to Yorkshire, do you use a carrier.

Steve,

Johnsons use Franklins.

Johnsons driver collects all soiled rugs from there outlets, same day each week and delivers to Franklins. And returns with previous weeks cleaned ones.

We always clean them on wood floors using double or triple thickness heavy duty dust sheets.

I generally use 6" hand tool as opposed to wand or scrubba head.  Price is normally between £4-£6 /sq yd depending on size and type of carpet.
