I charge £40 per hour to clean conservatorys with WFP.

I charge £5 per panel. That's a tad expensive, so I wait for the sharp intake of breath and then agree that it's a bit expensive. I then give a bit of a discount for easy access or ridge cappings not too dirty or some such.

No intake of breath, no discount.

Hint:

1 - soak with tfr (dip your brush in a bucket of it and brush it on)
2 - clean with your wfp connected to customer's outside tap
3 - finish with pure.

Yes. You're right. It depends entirely on the individual conservatory and the individual customer. £5 is the starting price.

Like I said, no intake of breath, no discount.

NWH, do you agree about the way of doing it?

start at £70 for a 3*4

thats 3 strait panels then 4 diagonal ones, then another 3 strait ones,

i don't even bother rinsing off with pure, will look rubbish again when it rains, and you never get a perfect finish because its a ROOF!

iam thinking the custy wouldnt be to happy about climbing all over the roof but you sure would get a better finnish ...any feed back would be great..

ive never needed one, and i count cons as my specialty, just put the ladder either side of the roof on the wall, and then on the gutters, just have to move a bit move and scrub where you put the ladder when you move so you dont leave anything behind

nice and simple

Yep. Same here, except I work from ground level most of the time and  use step ladders when necessary then don't need to lean against flimsy plastic gutters.

It depends on time & if you use there water or your pure water, if you use theres you will have more presure &  blade it off after £35 10ft by 10ft, if is a glass roof and not poly carb i use there water first swap poles rinse down with pure water and blade off £40 10ft by 10ft.

I have hired a conservatory ladder from HSS hire shop a couple of times to do special jobs. They are better, theres no doubt about it. I was seriously thinking of buying one and really going for the conservatory roof business but other things have taken up my time this year.

The trend towards glass roofed conservatorys means the job is now much more difficult than the older opaque plastic.

I would suggest you try hiring one as a try out to see what you think of them. One of those ladders and a couple of short scaffold boards and you can go anywhere.

just the glass smartie,

and ive never had a client want a spot less clean as a window con roof client, the next time it rains the glass looks rubbish

Seconded.

Who cares what it looks like after it rains?  After I've finished, it looks perfect - and that's what I get paid for.

and so do mine, customers dont ask for a spotless finish on polycarbonate and glass roofs, they dont expect, and i dont do it,

but if they did want it i think the price would reflect that, especially if you have to wait around and see how it dries, you never no with con roofs, tainted water can run down for them bristles
