What is the best delivery hose from static to tank?
At the moment im using normal tricoflex hose, but takes a while to fill the van mount.

i use inch and quarter pond hose
youknow the black ribbed stuff
bit bulky but fills quick
you can get lay flat type in large diameters
think its dearer than pond hose tho

Cool, i need about 30-40 metres of the stuff. Got new system with under bumper in/outlets, and the fill female is an inch.

getting technical now mate
i have an ibc at both ends of the hose
i fill my van tank thru the lid
takes no more than 15 min  to fill from empty
never timed it tho

is your ro in the van?  If so then you are only wanting to transfer tap water from an outside tap correct??

i bought 3 fire reels 1 for me,1 for my mate and the other one is on ebay with 50m of fire hose (19mm internal diameter) ,i also have another 50m of hose i took off my reel in the picture which will also go on ebay

Thanks guys, 15 mins that is quick!! Takes me longer than that to fill my 300 litre tank!!

like the fire hose idea tho
pond hose is bulky and awkward to store

ok - what size are the bumper ports?  If they are smaller than 32mm they will restrict the flow.

The bore size is 20mm

This is the stuff I use

It's very tough and won't split, you can stand on it if you feel like it.  I have 60 meters at 1 inch, a bit bulky.  It takes about 20 mins to fill 650 liters.  It's not very pliable stuff though, so what I did is stick a ball valve at the end with a short length of softer 1 inch pipe so it can get over the 1 inch fitting easier.

I found the fish pond stuff split too easy for me.

agree pond hose splits easy if used on fittings

well at 30 to 40 metres if you want to fill fast get a jet pump rather than a submersible as the jet pump will still push high volumes of water even with the associated backpressure of long hose lengths.

Pond hose for me with a valve on the end. Have it running along my garage wall from the ibc. Flat plastic hose tends to split after a while on the folds.
