harris poles (help)
« on: August 09, 2008, 03:41:39 pm »
hi all
watched vid on utube regarding making wfp out of harris decorating pole.

Am i right in saying that you can only get upto 5 metre harris pole=16 feet + 3foot reach 19 foot pole total?

Or is there anyway to make bigger.

5 metre would do the vast majority of my domestic round but what about windows behind conservatories etc.

currently have ecolite brodex 18 ft good but a bit bendy especially when trying to push windows shut!

also have a 30 foot streamlime pole very bendy try not to use at all too heavy pulls on back.

think stremline poles tend to fall to bits by 8 months :'(

any advice on harris
cheers all
Lee
p.s great vid window washers, u must of upset many pole suppliers, have a 1-3metre harris pole use to use odd job trad, very robust.

Hi, there is a thread started by groundhog about 2 months ago, it tells you everything. Basically you can add an unger no 5 section one end and a no 1 section the other.

Haven't tried with harris end but if u change it to a unger ergotec end , you need 6" of unger no 1 or similar,  u can use any unger attachment. If  you buy an unger  teleplus pole then no problem.
