Lol Gary :)

Sherco it seems the bait & switch guys have gone upmarket with their prices in your area!

I wonder what "carpet retexturing" is?  They'll clean the rooms at those prices but then add on £5.99/sq yd to "retexture" it, i.e. groom the pile? :D

I had one similar not long since, rang the guy he answered "yo" i asked if he could clean my lounge carpet and dining room, told him it was 100% wool, with lucozade stains in the loung and curry in the dining room and asked him his chance of successful removal.
He Replied " Its not an exact science mi old mate,I will send one a lads round next Tues, they will Hammer it if stains come out they come out if they dont they dont"
Then again there is probably some decent cc's out there charging these prices and doing a decent job!

Good point Mark - there was a chap posting here just a few weeks ago, sorry I've forgotten your name if you're reading.

He started up with seemingly honourable intentions, did some training, looks like he was making an effort to try to become a competent professional... but he was charging the prices he'd seen on these bait & switch leaflets coming through his door :s
