Are there two schools of thought...
« on: July 23, 2008, 11:03:21 pm »
...Are there two schools of thought when someone is selling some domestic work??....ie if someone is selling some easy straight forward semis which have been done trad say in Halifax at £6.50 each all trad boys would make money on these... but  would  this round appeal to a wfp cleaner in this type of area at £6.50 per house.

WFP is quicker but higher running costs so turnover needs to be higher. So you could have 2 different window cleaners, 1 trad 1 wfp and although the WFP does more houses and higher turnover the trad guy could earn the same or more in terms of actual profit.

People will only pay a going rate for the area. Wether its wfp or trad makes no difference......

When buying work though you will probably loose some customers along the line if you are changing them from trad to wfp or vice-a-versa...

Work is work at the end of the day !  If you set up buying and  selling rounds , you could do very well IMHO .   8) ;D
