been there done that got the t shirt, gone off doing sealing jobs and all the hassle but every job im going too want a quote to have it done,

they think it will stop all the weeds, grass, and dirt for ever.

this weather is near impossible to do any sanding or sealing,

i have used all resiblock which custys wont pay for and dont fancy using cheaper acry;lics so im only happy at present giving them price for keybond which is so much more easier to do.   but this does not stop the blocks getting dirty,  even two coat sealers dont last and are dead dear for custy,  can not be bothred with the hassle with it all anymore.

I agree with you. I came to that conclusion last year after so much lost time due to poor weather.
Would do the clean then book rest of job for a couple of days later and find that rain meant I would have to reschedule. So a days work/pay lost and then find that the rescheduled date is a wash out also so yet another day with no pay.
Meanwhile the driveway/area is becoming dirty again so when you finally get good weather you use more time than you originally quoted for to tidy the surface so that it is ready to take the sealer.

I now only apply sealer for existing customers who request a re seal after a couple of years.

I have also given up sealing drives- for basically the same reasons

Custy to tight to pay for Resiblock- weather a major factor -

last year i spent 6k on sealants only to be left in limbo due to the weather.

In fact still got some left - which ill use at some point'


Anyway - i just reschedule for the following year and follow up any local jobs with weedkilling programme usually if i am passing

yes they wont pay for good stuff its too dear and even still it does not last,  its an awkward one!!
