Save your 25 litre chemical containers.

When going to a job with awkward to get at water supply, fill a few of them up at home (hot water) just before you go. It will only take a couple of them to give you a full tank of water, takes about 30 seconds to fill your machine!

Very useful if machine is to be left outside, and water supply is perhaps upstairs or the other end of the house.

Might not sound like it, but when on a "rush job", working against the clock, it makes all the difference.

I've done what Chris advises on many occasions and it works really well for me. I buy my Dry Fusion chemicals in 25ltr barrels, but I prefer to use a couple of old BaneClene items. Why? Apart from the usual large bore filling/emptying cap, they also have a really neat small threaded cap. By removing this, when you pour from the container, there's no "glugging" so you have a quicker machine fill without the spillages.

In the same vein, when you are decanting from a 5 litre container, pour from the container sideways on. This again will initially minimise the glugging, and after a short while, all glugging will disappear.
