Seek advice about how to word the accompanying letter. It may be advised that you have it in writing that the refund is acceptable as complete settlement of the issue.

Remember re-imbursement is not an admission of guilt, so as ken says be careful
how you word any letter as it might come back and bite you on the bum.

On the top of the letter put in bold letters and underline Without Prejudice this just means that whilst you have agreed to pay back you are not admitting liability.
