Hi, one of our customers who we clean the offices and factories for on a weekly basis, has asked us to 'DEEP CLEAN' there plant rooms (4 rooms in total . . . room 1 10 machines, room 2 4 machines room 3 4 machines and room 4 2 machines . . . all running, so the noise is . . . what did you say).
We started the job on Monday and have spent 3 days JIZERing the machinery and they have come up quite clean. We are now at the stage of cleaning the floor. We have watered down the JIZER and have mopped the floor and on hands and knees dried . . . and it looks quite good.
The question (FINALLY) is: Ar we doing to much work? And what does the customer really expect?Ideally to clean the machines properly they need turning off and someone cleaning then thoroughly with grease and oil remover, which we are doing but with the machines running and engineers walking all over the floors and fiddling with the machines and putting messy hands everywhere.
If anybody has done these Plant Room cleans before, some general information would be great.
