What do you think?
« on: June 04, 2008, 02:59:26 pm »

 Hi

Following my post yesterday Earn extra income, the response I have had, has made me think what a great opportunity we have to pass work onto each other. As I  said in my first post, for example window cleaners usually have  hundreds of customers, so the prospect for them to pass on referrals and earn a commission is huge.

In simple terms each referral would earn a commission of 20% on work completed.

I have used window cleaners as an example but thinking about it, this could apply to other businesses such as oven cleaning, contract cleaners, pressure washers, window installers etc up and down the country.

This is an inexpensive way for us all to increase our income and our client base.

Would you find this type of referrals and commission payments beneficial to your business?   What do you think - I would appreciate your feedback?

John

i used to refer my customers to my mate who has a pressure washing company and he gave me 15% which at the time i thought was great
but then i thought to my self why pass the work on to him as it was usually 2 or 3 jobs a week, so i bought the equiptment, added pressure washing to the signage on my vans...... and hey presto i made 100% instead of 15% plus i started getting more pressure washing jobs as i was now advertising
service with a shine !
