Aquatec's clamp-less pop-up-pole
« on: May 19, 2008, 10:42:13 pm »
Has anyone used one of these?

If so, what did you think of it?

24 foot pole complete with Autobrush £159.50 + VAT
This pole has no clamps to cause problems and is extended and lowered in seconds.
Just flick up to the height required.
•   Comes complete with pole hose and Autobrush.
•   Brush sizes available 9" 12" or 15".
•   The fastest pole you will ever use.
•   No clamps needing renewed, or breaking.
•   It goes up and down in seconds.
•   Light as a feather, you can lift and use with one hand.
•   Time saving with the pole, and water saving with the Autobrush.

Thanks

Mike

Until recently I was using an old predator pole with the clamps removed, it was definetly very quick to use. The only problem was that it swivelled very easily which could be a problem, if Peter has solved that problem with his new pole then it should be very good!!!

Is that one of the pole used on the video on Wally the window washer's site  :-\

You just seem to throw it up in movements!  :D

If it is it looks cool  8)  8)

i think i have had one of these. Remember no clamps so the only way it is held up is by holding the hose at the bottom. It has stiff minibore hose so it can hold the pole up. Also the sections can twist inside each other so a bit of a pain but if your used to it? I think Peter fogwill is redoing the design so it might be worth the wait for the better design.?
