i'm not a wfp w/c but do you think if you were to clean the windows trad using pure h2o with no soap then next time using the pole would be easyer and easyer every time?? just a thought. yes it would take a while at 1st but surely worth it in the long run?

I really hesitate to make a reply in case I'm castigated for being a newbie - but here goes ...

In my experience the squeegee just doesn't glide over the glass using 000 water, so it won't work.

In any case, it's not really the glass that's the issue, it's the amount of dirt on the frames and soap residue stuck under the seal of double glazed units.

I agree with the last part of that, I have a trad guy that has started to use pure for him work with unger gel, he trialed it for a couple of days and loves it, 1 scrium in 2 days, said he could leave the edges on most as it dried clear.

pure with nothing in makes for hard work I have tried this myself, if ever I trad I always use pure and gg4.

Do the frames. check the result is good. Probably will be but, If not rinse the glass again.
And sleep happily ever after in the knowledge that's it's gonna be easy forever after.
