Today I did the biggest contract that I do, now normally I get my sister to help but she was not well so she asked my mom to help today  :-[

It was too late to get other help, So my momsy came to day and worked with me..

Well first we did the insides and she knocked over the bucket of water..

What about you lot have you ever asked family or your mother to help with window cleaning ;)

No way you must be mental, My mum would laugh at me if I asked her, and I could not afford my dads wages.

I do have three sons (not old enough yet though)  ;)

My Mum's 75 but I think she would have a go if I asked her!! My Dad thinks window cleaning is for wimps! so no good asking him!!! My sister is far too highly qualified for manual labour!!!! Both my son's are too young, although I have begun training the eldest and when he gets to about 13 I will get him to earn his pocket money!!! My brother does help me occaissionally, and when he does we get huge amounts of work done because we are so competitve with each other!!!!!!!!!! I keep trying to persuade him to come into partnership with me, which hopefully he will one day!

I would never dream of asking friends or family, lol. If you can't manage the job by yourself you've either got to much on your plate (perhaps the busy fool) or you need to employ or sub contract IMO.

No I don't think so as she is a chartered accountant in charge of her department at a big company, she drives a top of the range Mercedes and lives in a 750k house. Her husband owns his own mobile phone company and drives an Aston Martin and has a BMW X5 for a run about!!! I hate her! Only joking I luv my little sis ;D

My youngest son loves to "help" me. He comes out sometimes on a Weekend but it often takes me longer with him helping that it would if I was on my own.

I took my 3 yr old out last week. He got a 20p tip, a go on a trampoline and an invite inside for a drink and a dvd.

There must be rules about working your children at such a young age?
At least I waited till my lad was 5 before dragging him out to work.  LOL ;D ;D

i started at 13 had my own round on a saturday by 14 but i took my 13 year old out with me only to watch him eating sweets and getting drinks from custys and getting tipped from custys ive never had a tip and all he had to do was sort out hoses open gates and carry my bucket on trad work then he wanted paid. and yes there are laws on it so he can stay at home as he kept commenting on the state of custys property at top of his voice when i know they are at home because they work night shift :'(
