Well i read on here that it`s supposed to go between the foam or whatever the cushions are made from and the fabric they are covered in to stop any dirt wicking back to the surface.Never used it myself but if it`s something that others use then i will give it a bash ..Why the

Sorry just never heard of using paper on upholstery.
Wouldn't of thought paper and a wet suite is a good combination
if you wanted some kind of barrier between the two then i would think clear
polythene bags would be a better bet !

In a worst case scenario Mark, paper could promote cellulosic browning.
Normally, there's no need to insert a liner into cushions. You certainly can't do it on the frame. But if you have a stain that's penetrated the cushion, a clean, unprinted polythene sheet or bag will prevent any wick back.

This can also be used if a marker has been used on the cushion during manufacture

Plastic sheeting will prevent any ink marks from transfering to the face fabric from the foam filling.
Oops, has already been said.
