old resin ... spots in vessel
« on: April 22, 2008, 06:41:22 pm »
had a post on this the other day about spots, i looked at my resin vesel, 10 inch one like the pre filters size, and there was tiny little white spots inside

so i decided to change the resin, after 2 years, cough, but the water was only reading at 001, it was all manky and brown at the top and then when that came out it was a slurry inside. i never changed resin before because i  havent needed to so i dont know wheter this is normal

maybe its not the reading, maybe it just needs chaning ever so often...? as with pre filters...?
