Thanks for your interest Ian, I wouldn't bother pricing this job if I thought that all I could get would be £1 a metre!!! :( I was thinking more like £3 per metre and add the cost of the omnivac hire to the price!! That's more like it!!!  ;D

Hopefully get some photos tomorrow!! ;)

too right,

lets face it, this isnt a job your average joe with a ladder can do, pressure washer guys can do around £1000 a day with the right equipment and skill, on a large job. with a gutter vac and the work to match you should be near that as it is a niche.

My thoughts exactly Alex, at the end of the day I'm not that worried if I don't get it, if I do I want it to be for a good price, to make it worth my while taking a day away from my regular round!!

If I do get the job I will let you know how I get on with the omnivac Darren, I haven't heard of many people on hear praising them either, but if they work well I think they could be a very good investment!!

Many of the commercial contractors using the Guttervac charge out at up to £1600.00 per day, that would probably include supplying the client with a before and after DVD for their records and maybe advising the client of any defects they spoted whilst carrying out the work ie. loose tiles, defective pointing.
With a 350 metre run I would definatly say you should looking at £1400.00 to £1600.00 or around this type of figure.
