Why do most 4040 systems not come with a sediment filter?
« on: April 03, 2008, 11:47:26 am »
Correct me if I'm wrong, but how come 100-300GPD RO units come with a sediment filter, and most ready made 4040 systems don't, just Carbon filters?

4040 should have a debris/sediment filter & a carbon filter to prolong the life of the membrane and should always be changed at regular intervals of use.
