I'd like to say thanks to everyone who has helped me on this forum as i dont believe i would of gone through with being my own boss and taken the steps ive taken without you guys, i wouldnt of known where to get my system from, what poles and brushes to get, insurance, ladders, van even squeegee etc. i,ve only got 40 custys at mo doing trad but tank going in on the 10th April so wfp and canvassing hard, your advice has been second to none and looking forward to the time a head. So thanks guys big time.

I started May last year without any custy's and now have 180 all wfp, not a single complaint or cancellation. A couple dropped through none payment but that goes with the territory I suppose.

Advice from the forum and meeting others has been invaluable to the success I have had so far. Always learning and taking on advice is the key to any successful business.

The best bit of advice I was given is not to under price yourself, keep your work at a decent price it will come. I could have no doubt reached 250+ customers but went for quality not quantity. I must admit I was in a position to do this after taking a redundancy package which enabled me to keep my head above water for 6 months or so.

Cheers Wayne, i still got full time job as work 3.30pm till 9.00pm so its funding my set up but so cant wait now to get going properly, business cards get delivered today,leaflets being sorted now , sign writing done Thursday then tank week later so all hard work coming together.
