The bright red one is the one Gardiners use to sell specifically for the Merlin and I can highly recommend it...

Just fitted one (although not from Gardiners) yesterday. Only problem i had was when it was running it kept switching on and off every few seconds between the minimum 40 psi and maximum 75 psi i set it to.it also caused the outside taps to bang every few seconds too.I solved the problem by getting another 1000ltr IBC, filling that with tap water, then drawing it from there with the pump through the merlin and into another IBC at 008 tds, also the pump runs constantly at 55psi. The delicate bit is balancing the tap water in at the same rate that the pump draws it out of the first IBC. Hope this helps.
