£3000 for full system 650L, thought it was quite good and not as far for me to travel like purefreedom is.

lol ur goin around and around with this one Jaykie.

THat's not a bad sys actually but its a lot more than what u were quoted from PF when u add VAT. Its one of those skid mounted tanks. Not too bad but they take up a lot of floorspace.

I don't know why u just don't bite the bullet and do the trip to Grimsby m8. Book a room in a B&B for the day.. drop ur van off at PF.. go to the B&B.. breakfast and then get ur head down for a few hours then go pick ur van up and get back home.  say 10 or 11 ish...  hook up to a tap to fill overnight..  get a decent nights kip and get to work makin £££'s

Brightnclean that is my main idea, i found travel lodge up the road from purefreedom, me and my mate where going to stick van on his trailer leave home at 2am arrive in grimsby between 7-8 go get head down then collect van at 5 but thats assuming its completed in a day, also still got other job and have kids on days off so if i could find a company nearer with the same quality as purefreedom id get it done there. Not going round and around just want to get it right as its a lot of money to part with also my money comes through on thursday so can get van and book it in to have tank fitted this week.

Sair i also have quote from essentially pure and they where asking stupid money it turned out to be over £1000 more then purefreedom.

I can see ur point Jaykie. It's a big decision m8  :)

I am lucky coz PF are only an hour from me at the most. All I really know is I have 2 van mounts from them and a few mates have as well and we are all well happy not only with the kit but the aftercare as well.

I do know that ppl go there from all over the country to have systems fitted. I've met one or two while I've been over at PF's place in grotty Grimsby  lol. I met 1 guy who was over there from Holland havin a sys fitted  :o

It's up to you mate but I know where I would go even with a 6 hr journey. My 1st system was an Ionics one.. I still have it and find the PF system every bit if not better. I'm a fan.. shoot me  lol  :)

Im 99% sure ill have a purefreedom system in my van, i have been sure since i decided 2 months ago just want to eliminate the others 1st, but im one of them people that walks into comet buys a tv then i see the same item in another shop a lot cheaper, im a got to have it now person which is what ive been like all my life (29 years) so thought id prove my family wrong and show them ill do this right and not jeapodise mine and familys future by jumping deep, so thought id start as mean to go on and thats what ive done starting with van then system etc etc. Im going to make this work as im a very determined person and will put my all into this and not just set a target get it then go home, Like you brightnclean i would like to have more then one van(I know its early days but i have a goal) thanks for your help in this forum it has been a great help and i hope in time ill be here helping people as well, im sure one question ill be answering in the future will be someone else asking what wfp company to use and im sure ill be one saying purefreedom.

For anyone interested this is the system that purefreedom have put together for me, if anyone can think of anything i should change i.e poles etc your advice would help, I think i might change the tank to the next size up as was getting a pug expert but decided to get a vivaro, trafic or primaster.

1 x Baffled 500 litre upright water tank.
1 x full metal cage for tank
1 x 40 inch Reverse Osmosis membare housing
1 x 40 inch high quality reverse osmosis membrane.
1 x 20 inch housing with 5 micron pre sediment filter
1 x 20 inch housing with carbon block filter
(We fit 20 inch filters for much improved RO membane protection)
1 x solenoid valve with in-tank float valve to enable fully automatic cut-off when tank is full.
1 Deionisation resin housing complete with charge of resin.
1 x HM digital TDS meter to check water quality
1 x Shurflo 100 PSI delivery pump
1 x Flowmaster electronic flow controller.
1 x pump debris strainer
1 x high quality metal hosereel
1 x 100 mtr length delivery hose (8mm)
1 x 27 ft reach 4 section telescopic fibreglass pole with VIKAN brush
1 x 4 ft 2 section pole complete with VIKAN brush for low level cleaning.
1 x Heavy duty deep cycle battery
1 x Battery charger.
1 x Protectakote blue van floor waterproofing kit.
Outside ports for filling tank and working with van securely locked.

Complete assembly, testing and installation of the system in your vehicle.

Total cost £2875.00 including VAT.

I think I have suggested this before.. I would change the pole to an Extel hybrid...  probably 30 ft. It will cost u a couple of hundred more but well worth it. I don't think they will charge u any more for a 650 tank which is about the biggest u can safely put in a Vivaro etc. :)

Brightnclean.

just spoke to Andres McCann and got him to change my quote so now got 2 ports on back, plus a extra 100 meter reel and instead of the 27ft pole now got 30fl hybrid xl. extra £496 inc vat so now my system is £3,371 inc installation and Vat.

So thanks for your help.

You'll be able to get the reel and pole cheaper elsewhere and save around £50 -60

Thats good m8 :)

I know Andrew never recommends running 2 reels from one pump so does that bit extra include another pump and Flowmaster fitted as well?

My advice is to get an extra 18ft excel glass pole , i started off with a mini pole and a big heavy one but was a pain always having to think about 2 poles , i use an 18ft for most houses for tops and bottoms and have a 36ft hybrid for everything else.
