Is there an EZ fitting that can go on the end of your reel-hose that cuts off the water supply once the pole hose is disconnected from it, thus shutting off the pump?

I know that you can fit a hozelock fitting with adaptors to allow this but is there just an EZ fitting to be able to achieve this?

This is a end-stop fitting and works exactly the same as a Hozelock end-stop, it comes in 8mm or 6mm size.

various options for that mate,how about a tap with a eazi snap type fittin on, or just have a female easi snap on hose and males on poles.Personally i have 1/4" tap which fits in leather holster on belt with male easi snap and females on poles

The reason I asked about this was I wanted as slimline a connection as poss, no bleedin Hozelocks for me ta, between my pole and reel, to save catching and hook-ups etc.

Sorted it, I had to swap the female and male connections around, NOW it shuts off when the pole is disconnected

These are the best but there are some around at the moment call it a dodgy batch which have bearings in them which keep failing the bearings stick and don`t accept the pole hose,it seems as if you have a stone or something stuck in it but if you look in the end when you pull down the release ring the bearings don`t retract.

I got the idea off Ian Giles, but I wear a sash around my neck and arm and attach the hose tap to this.(I use a dog harness).
You might not understand the benefits now, but it's a good tip.

These Ez female things sometimes stop working. It's nearly always that they are dirty. Hot water and fairy in a dish and work them and they come clear for reuse.

If you've got an xtel put a nut on(around the clear plastic pipe just before the brush) the pole hose as it exits the angle adapter, this stops it pulling through when it catches and taking an age to re insert.
