Wooooo they are not 6 x 4 they are maybe at most 2 x 3 and maybe even 18" x 2ft.
But they are either Persian or Afghans.
So you can practice on the proper thing. The Persians have white tassles so you can can do what ever you want to to find which is best for you to get them clean.
The Afghans dont have white tassles but I am sure you knew that already.
I am trying to see if I can borrow an Isfahan to show but not sure if I can or not.
Maybe on the day I can clean your rugs if anyone wants to bring them along.
Please note though, Orientals are not made in Belgium or anywhere else in Western Europe. Nor in the United States. The states have hand-woven rugs but these are Navajo or American Indian rugs.
There are rugs made by Wilton, Karistan (nice rugs) and Courtisan made by machines in Oriental rug designs but they are not Oriental rugs.
Lastly, no genuine Oriental rug is made with nylon or polypropylene.
So if you have any rug not listed above I would be happy to clean it. Bear in mind that it will be wet and you will have to dry it the next day.
P.S. No super wash Chinese either, as for the purpose of the day they are too heavy and awkward to clean. Not only that I hate cleaning them and usually walk away from doing so.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
Best, Dave.
